Leeds had entered 'advanced talks' for Muharemovic on July 12, whose market value increased after an impressive Serie A season and strong performances at the 2026 World Cup. Earlier, on July 9, Juventus moved away from a deal to sign Muharemovic, citing a reported €25m fee gap with Sassuolo despite his previous ties as a Next Gen player.
