Founded in 1995 by Dr. Terence Ascott, the organization operates as an international Christian media ministry specializing in broadcast television and radio. Governed by an international board and led by International CEO Rita El-Mounayer, it broadcasts as a non-profit Christian satellite television network across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Broadcasting free-to-air in Arabic, Persian (Farsi), and Turkish, SAT-7 reaches millions of viewers across 25 countries in MENA and Europe. Over 80% of its content is produced locally by Middle Eastern teams, offering faith-based, educational, social, and cultural programming tailored to local audiences.
