On April 25, SCAD's Trustees Theater screened "Harold and Maude," a film depicting the unlikely relationship between a death-obsessed 19-year-old and a life-embracing 79-year-old. Previously, on April 24, the university hosted its SCAD Sand Arts Festival 2026, a beach-side sculpture competition where students and alumni united to compete. Earlier, on April 21, SCAD FASH featured a Christian Dior Couture exhibition, curated by Hélène Starkman for Dior and Rafael Brauer Gomes for SCAD FASH, which re-framed couture through the themes of craft transmission and education.
