Searchlight Television, a division of the company, develops and produces series for streaming, network, and cable partners, and has collaborated with partners such as Hulu and 20th Studios, including for its production "The Dropout" and the Spanish-language limited series "La Máquina" for Hulu and Disney+.
Searchlight Pictures will make its film "Rental Family" available for digital purchase on March 31, 2026, on platforms including Apple TV, SF Anytime, and Viaplay. This follows the studio's March 23 release of "Ready or Not 2: Here I Come," a sequel to its 2019 horror/comedy "Ready or Not," which performed well at the box office. The sequel, lauded for its humor and gore, continues the story with protagonist Grace immediately after surviving an attack from the Le Domas family. Earlier, on March 20, Searchlight Pictures launched Bradley Cooper’s directorial effort "Is This Thing On?" on Hulu and Disney+, a film that follows Alex (Will Arnett) as he uses late-night comedy clubs for therapy amidst a failing marriage.
