Sencore, a privately-owned US company founded in 1951, designs and sells video processing and playout equipment. With approximately 100 employees and a subsidiary of Wellav Technologies, the company reported revenues of around $10 million in 2023. Its products and services support high-quality video delivery, serving clients including cable and satellite operators, broadcasters, telecommunication companies, and technical professionals in areas such as operational support, signal monitoring and analysis, and video/audio distribution.
On July 10th, 2025, PlexusAV, Sencore's professional AV division, announced a distribution agreement with PAG to distribute products in Canada. A similar announcement was made on an unspecified date regarding a distribution agreement with AVIT Vision for distribution in Spain and Portugal. On August 25th, 2025, Sencore released the MRD 8000 Accelerated Multichannel Receiver Decoder, a platform designed to simplify contribution and distribution workflows.
