The company also highlighted the general availability and early deployments of its X5 device and SIx300 SDI/IP gateway module, extending the platform's capabilities from compact edge deployments to multiple-site live contribution workflows, and supporting JPEG 2000 and JPEG XS. On the same day, Appear partnered with Corus Entertainment to transform its national news contribution with IP, a transition aimed at improving efficiency and reliability by reducing reliance on leased circuits and increasing in-house capabilities.
