Seneca College, a privately owned institution headquartered in Canada, founded in 1967, employs approximately 5000 individuals. On April 1, 2026, Seneca Polytechnic joined the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) delegation for a tri-city mission to India, visiting New Delhi, Chandigarh, and Mumbai. The delegation, comprising over 25 members, met with senior officials from government, industry, and education to support the restructuring of a longstanding partnership between Canada and India, following Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit. On the same day, Seneca Polytechnic expanded its Liberal Arts University Transfer (LAT) program by adding Queen's University as its newest pathway partner, offering students the opportunity to explore humanities and social science disciplines while developing university-level academic skills. Previously, on March 3, 2026, Seneca Polytechnic received $225,000 from the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER), with support from the Government of Canada, to expand experiential learning opportunities through collaborations with industry partners.
