Shanghai Animation Film Studio, also known as SAFS, is a state-owned animation production enterprise headquartered in Shanghai, China. Founded on April 1, 1957, the studio employs approximately 20 individuals and reported $8.9M in revenue as of 2024. Its main product offering is content rights. Functioning as an animation production branch of the state-backed Shanghai Film Group, the studio is recognized for pioneering the "Chinese National Style" (Minzu Fengge) of animation.
