Bona Film Group

Bona Film Group, a publicly owned company headquartered in Chaoyang, Beijing, China, was founded in 1999 by Yu Dong. It employs approximately 20 individuals and operates as a vertically integrated film and television entertainment studio conglomerate, specializing in entertainment content rights, production, and distribution. Bona Film Group was the first Chinese film company to be listed on NASDAQ in 2010, later restructuring its capital to launch an IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange A-share main board in August 2022 (Ticker: 001330). The company has been awarded among the 'Top 30 National Cultural Enterprises' in China three times, having produced and distributed over 300 major motion pictures that have generated a cumulative box office exceeding 60 billion RMB ($8.3+ billion USD). Its productions include The Battle at Lake Changjin (the highest-grossing film in Chinese cinema history), Operation Red Sea, The Captain, Operation Mekong, Hidden Blade, and Operation Leviathan.
