Huayi Brothers Media, also known as Huayi Brothers Media Corporation, is a Publicly Owned company headquartered in China. Founded in 1994 by brothers Wang Zhongjun and Wang Zhonglei, the company played a significant role in the commercialization and marketization of the Chinese domestic film industry. In October 2009, Huayi Brothers went public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext Board (300027.SZ), becoming the first listed film and television company in mainland China. It has historically attracted institutional backing from tech giants Alibaba, Tencent, and Ping An Insurance. As an entertainment conglomerate, the company reported $43.1M in revenue as of 2025 and functions as a tier 2 media tech buyer. Its cinematic and television library includes commercial blockbusters such as Cell Phone, A World Without Thieves, Assembly, Aftershock (which set a domestic box office record of RMB 672 million in 2010), the If You Are the One series, and television dramas like Soldiers Sortie.
