Sinet is a privately owned Cambodian internet service provider founded in 2009. The company offers connectivity and distribution services and is headquartered in Cambodia. Sinet has a staff of approximately 90 employees.
Sinet hosted its tenth annual Scottsdale Risk Executive Workshop on January 29-30, 2024, bringing together 50-60 CISOs and risk executives. A speaker at the event included Jena Valdetero, Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig. Discussions at the Wyoming, 2024, SINET group meeting focused on the impact of the AI paradigm shift on enterprise security. In April 2025, Japanese fiber operator Optage plans to build a direct route between its closed network and Sinet, directly connecting Sinet to Optage's domestic cloud service, OCCS. Wasabi Technologies joined Sinet as a cloud storage service provider, enabling access to Wasabi's hot cloud storage via Sinet's network. This partnership allows universities and research institutions in Japan to access Wasabi’s storage solutions through Sinet’s network.
