Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, an animated film produced by Sony Pictures Animation, achieved the streamer's highest-viewed animated content status and had a special two-day theatrical sing-along screening. This screening topped the box office the previous week. Additionally, a behind-the-scenes look at the film's animation, focusing on a takedown sequence, was shared by a senior animator from Sony Imageworks. Following the sing-along's success, Warner Bros. Pictures' Weapons is projected to earn almost $15 million in its fourth weekend at the box office. KPop Demon Hunters will also have a wider theatrical release.
