South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV)

The South American Volleyball Confederation (CSV), also known as Confederacion Sudamericana de Voleibol, is a state-owned organization founded in 1946 and headquartered in Brazil. As the governing body for volleyball in South America, it oversees and regulates volleyball activities within the region. The CSV exercises its authority through the governing bodies of the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, French Guiana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. These countries are affiliated with the CSV, which in turn is affiliated with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the global governing body for volleyball.
