Stagetec, a privately owned German company founded in 1993, designs and manufactures audio equipment. Employing approximately 60 people, the company's product line includes mixing consoles and signal management solutions encompassing audio, video, IP, and interface technologies. Stagetec added NEX:T axio, an IP-based audio I/O and processing platform, to its Nexus system. This platform supports transitions to IP workflows and networked infrastructures, combining audio quality across analogue and digital formats. Separately, Stagetec introduced On Air, a modular console solution for various production environments, including radio stations, theatres, and broadcast applications. In Malaysia, Media Prima upgraded its broadcast infrastructure with DHD SX2 audio production mixers at its Balai Berita Bangsar studios, supporting TV3 and 8TV. Stagetec Asia partnered with VME Broadcast on this project, integrating the DHD SX2 consoles into the production control suites for TV3 and 8TV.
