Staylive, a privately owned Swedish company founded in 2013, provides video business systems specializing in over-the-top (OTT) streaming for live events, particularly sporting events. With approximately 30 employees, the company generated revenue of around $10 million in 2023. Staylive's offerings include both the technological infrastructure for streaming and consulting services encompassing event planning, technical implementation, and audience development. It is a subsidiary of Spring Media.
Staylive, a Spring Media company, partnered with IJshockey Nederland on October 3, 2024, to provide streaming services for the Eredivisie ice hockey league via a platform called Ijshockey Live. On October 14, 2024, Staylive announced four new partnerships with national swimming federations in Finland, Switzerland, Iceland, and Denmark. Spring Media's acquisition of Staylive was announced on October 28, 2024, increasing Two Circles' client base to over 950 organizations. Prior to the Spring Media acquisition, Staylive collaborated with the International Federation of Bandy (FIB) to launch FIB TV, a streaming platform for bandy, and with European Gymnastics to power their gymtv.online platform.
Staylive's customers primarily consist of broadcast television and radio, entertainment Providers and streaming services companies. Examples of Staylive's customers include Expressen, Aftonbladet and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). Staylive has commercial and technical partners like IFK Göteborg and Svenska Bandyförbundet (The Swedish Bandy Association).
