This collaboration combines Tampnet's offshore connectivity with Armada's edge computing capabilities. On March 17, 2025, Tampnet, along with Cinia Oy, NORDUnet A/S, Tusass A/S, the Dutch Subsea Cable Coalition, and GlobalConnect AB, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a Pan-Arctic Cable System. Tampnet also secured a contract with Woodside to provide fiber-optic connectivity for its Trion floating production system offshore Mexico. This project, involving the installation of a 200-km fiber-optic cable in the Gulf of Mexico, will support remote operations, safety, and training.
