Local outlet Infobae reported the transaction, which is expected to close within 30 days and will be financed through a five-year syndicated loan from ICBC, Banco Galicia, and Banco Santander. Previously, on December 31, 2025, Canal 26 began transmitting its programming in 4K (Ultra High Definition), becoming the first news channel in Latin America to adopt this technology for its informative signal.
