The partnership, officially announced this week, aims to enhance public safety. On May 21, 2025, the companies formalized a partnership to launch the Safe City Project in the Suva-Nausori corridor. This project involves Telecom Fiji providing high-speed fiber-optic connectivity and a CCTV camera network; all video feeds will go to the Fiji Police Command Centre. Separately, former Telecom Fiji board member Sanjay Kaba's case, involving accusations of obtaining a financial advantage exceeding $700,000, was adjourned. Parties involved have one month to finalize agreed-upon facts. Mr. Kaba is scheduled to reappear in court on June 27th.
