Telehouse, a privately owned company and a subsidiary of KDDI, is headquartered in the UK. Founded in 1988, the company operates with approximately 350 employees, specializing in data centre colocation services with global connectivity. Telehouse provides a carrier-dense data centre ecosystem at its London Docklands campus, serving internet exchanges, cloud service providers, ISPs, and ASPs. Its London data centre, Telehouse North, opened in 1990 as Europe's first purpose-built colocation data centre. The London Docklands campus has expanded to include Telehouse West, East, and North Two, with Telehouse South opening in 2022 at Blackwall Yard. The London Docklands campus is a location for LINX, the London Internet Exchange. Operating a network of over 40 data centres across more than 10 countries, Telehouse serves major commercial and financial hubs. In collaboration with KDDI Europe, it delivers end-to-end ICT solutions to customers in retail, financial, and gaming industries. With over 30 years of experience, Telehouse supports security and connectivity for colocation sites, facilitating application and system operation. The company pioneered the first adiabatic data centre cooling system and powers its London Docklands Data centres with 100% renewable energy.
