EdgeConneX participated in the Digital Garden event in Tokyo on April 30, 2026, engaging with Japan’s data center ecosystem following the recent groundbreaking of its first site in the greater Osaka region, as Japan emerges as a dynamic data center market. On April 28, 2026, the Teays Valley Local School District Board of Education passed a resolution supporting proposed donations related to PowerConneX Inc.'s development of a behind-the-meter natural gas power facility to support EdgeConneX Inc.'s data center development in Ashville. Also on April 28, AdaniConneX, its data center joint venture with the Adani Group, announced it is leading the development of a 1 GW AI-ready data center platform in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, backed by an approximately $10 billion investment from the Adani Group. Another development on April 28 saw EdgeConneX's new data center in California collaborate with Madison Energy Infrastructure, both EQT portfolio companies, in one of their first joint efforts to address data center energy demands.
