Telia Lithuania, also known as Telia Lietuva and Teo LT, is a privately owned company headquartered in Lithuania and is a subsidiary of Telia Company. Founded in 1982, the company reported $534.1M in revenue as of 2024 and operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer. It specializes in telecoms, offering fixed line, mobile, broadband, and television services to consumers and businesses in Lithuania. The company resulted from the merger between Teo LT and Omnitel in 2015 and subsequently rebranded as Telia in 2017.
On September 30, 2026, Telia Lithuania secured a tender to provide IT and connectivity infrastructure services for Lithuania's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which is scheduled from January 1 to June 30, 2027. This follows Telia Company's report on July 17 detailing its second-quarter 2026 results, which indicated accelerating service revenue growth of 2.8% on a like-for-like basis across its Nordic and Baltic operations, marking its fastest expansion in four years and surpassing the company’s full-year target. Earlier on July 17, the Board of Telia Lietuva AB approved its unaudited Interim Financial Statements for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026. Also on July 17, Telia Lietuva AB announced board changes, with Andreas Ekström, Head of Telia Asset Management at Telia Company, joining the board. This appointment followed the resignation of Hannu-Matti Mäkinen, who departed to take on new responsibilities within the Telia Company Group.
