On July 1, 2024, Idex Corp announced a definitive agreement to acquire Mott Corporation and its subsidiaries for US$1 billion in cash. Later, on an unspecified date in September 2024, Rensa Filtration acquired The Filter Shop, a company with air filter distribution centers and service teams in Omaha, Nebraska, and Des Moines, Iowa. The terms of this transaction were not disclosed. Rensa Filtration announced this acquisition again on September 25, 2024, specifying that The Filter Shop serves customers throughout the region.
