Formerly known as the Museum of Television & Radio (MT&R) and the Museum of Broadcasting, this American cultural institution operates from its primary location in New York with a branch office in Los Angeles. On May 28, 2026, Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro, Liberty Media CEO Derek Chang, Spotify Co-CEO Alex Norström, and Sony Group Corp. CEO Hiroki Totoki joined the Paley Center for Media’s board of trustees, among a group of senior executives. This followed the Paley Center for Media's May 27, 2026, announcement of plans to honor cable industry legend John Malone with an annual keynote address at its International Council Summit in New York City, recognizing his half-century career. The inaugural event will be named the Dr. John C. Malone International Media Council Keynote Address.
