On July 31, 2026, Commonwealth Games organizers supported their decision to transition British live broadcasting rights from the BBC to TNT Sports for the Glasgow Games, commending TNT's delivery of 600 hours of coverage, triple the 200 hours the BBC broadcast from Birmingham in 2022. Previously, on July 30, TNT Sports announced a "new benchmark" for its cycling viewership during the 2026 Tour de France, the first time the event was exclusively broadcast live on the channel in the UK and Ireland. The broadcaster reported a 58% year-on-year increase in viewership, with its average audience growing by over half. Earlier, on July 29, Premier Padel secured a broadcast agreement with TNT Sports and HBO Max to provide live coverage of the inaugural London Premier Padel P1. This tournament, marking the first Premier Padel event in the UK, will take place at Olympia from August 4-9, with all matches available live in the UK and Ireland.
