On August 20, TNT Sports announced it would make the first 30 minutes of its live Premier League broadcasts, along with the pre-Premier League show EKO – Early Kick Off – available free-to-air on YouTube this season, starting with Manchester United’s visit to Hull. Earlier, on August 18, TNT Sports and HBO Max confirmed they would broadcast every stage live for the 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women and Men, complementing free-to-air coverage on ITV4 and ITVX. That same day, TNT and HBO Max were also set to crown the first world champion of Shaquille O’Neal's DUNKMAN Presented by Lilly on August 25. Previously, on August 17, TNT Sports and its streaming home HBO Max prepared for the 2026/27 football season, which encompasses over 700 live matches across seven major trophies, including the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, and Serie A. This followed their August 13 announcement confirming readiness to deliver this extensive football coverage.
