Turkcell demonstrated 5G network services at Teknofest 2025 in Istanbul on an unspecified date, remotely controlling an autonomous electric vehicle located at the Tubitak Gebze Campus from a stand at Ataturk Airport, a distance of approximately 70 kilometers. A separate demonstration of 5G technology, also at TEKNOFEST in Istanbul, involved the successful remote control of a domestically produced autonomous electric vehicle at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus. Turkcell's digital content platform, TV+, partnered with Samsung. This partnership resulted in the pre-installation of the TV+ app on Samsung smart TVs and smart monitors, with Samsung users receiving a bonus TV+ subscription for up to 12 months through promotional campaigns. A memorandum of understanding further expanded this partnership, ensuring the continued integration of the TV+ app into Samsung's smart TVs and smart monitors.
