This rating action followed Fitch's revision of Turkiye's LTFC IDR Outlook to Stable from Positive on April 10, 2026. Previously, on April 22, Turkcell launched a comprehensive campaign to expand 5G access and boost device adoption across Turkiye, which runs until May 20. This initiative, highlighted by an "expanded push into 5G adoption" and promoted through its "Turkcell Power" program, offers customers various financing options and discounts on 5G-compatible smartphones. These include the iPhone 17 series and Samsung Galaxy models, available with options like a three-installment payment plan at cash price, across its revamped retail stores and Pasaj.
