Udinese Calcio is a privately owned company headquartered in Italy. Founded in 1896, it operates with approximately 150 employees and reported $55.1M in revenue as of 2023. Functioning primarily in the spectator sports sector, Udinese Calcio is an Italian professional football club based in Udine.
Newcastle United reportedly lodged a bid for Udinese midfielder Arthur Atta on June 25, who has been linked with the Premier League club multiple times this summer. Previously, on June 17, Inter Milan advanced talks for Udinese centre-back Oumar Solet, pushing to complete the deal before preseason camp opens in mid-July, as Stefan de Vrij’s contractual situation remains unresolved. This followed Udinese's activation of a €5 million clause on June 16 to permanently sign striker Nicolo Zaniolo from Galatasaray after his one-season loan spell. However, Zaniolo's agent revealed the player was "disappointed and frustrated" amid an ongoing dispute over his salary, despite Udinese's intention on June 15 to exercise the purchase option by the midnight deadline even without a full wage agreement. The club had previously reached an agreement with Zaniolo for a four-year contract on June 14.
