The National University of Distance Education (UNED) is a state-owned Spanish university founded in 1972. Employing approximately 4,400 people, UNED's primary function is the delivery of higher education through distance learning. Its academic offerings encompass a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts and humanities, social sciences, sciences, engineering, and other disciplines.
