USA Pickleball announced a partnership with Musco Sports Lighting to improve player safety by providing well-lit facilities. On June 3, 2025, USA Pickleball approved the 11mm Black Ace LG pickleball paddle by ProKennex for use in all events, reversing an earlier decision after the paddle passed updated tests, including the PBCoR standard. USA Pickleball also announced it will use a measurement solution from Image System's Motion Analysis to help establish new standards for pickleball paddle top-spin performance. The organization filed a counteraction to defend its intellectual property and maintain the sport's integrity.
