USA Ultimate opened the application process on April 2, 2026, for athletes interested in trying out for the U.S. National Team that will compete at the 2027 WFDF World Under-24 Ultimate Championships. This followed the distribution of $157,000 in direct funding to local disc organizations (LDOs) through its affiliate program on March 16. In February, the national governing body opened applications for assistant coaches for the mixed, open, and women’s Under-24 (U-24) National Teams, who will join returning coaches Patrick Sherlock (mixed), Bob Krier (open), and Gwen Ambler (women) for the 2027 WFDF World Under-24 Ultimate Championships.
