Vejan Film, a privately owned company headquartered in the Harbiye district of Şişli, Istanbul, Turkey, was founded in 2014 by filmmaker, editor, and visual technician Erhan Örs, who built his expertise through extensive production and post-production work with the Mesopotamia Cinema Collective. With approximately 10 employees, the company specializes in entertainment content rights, operating as an independent film studio, production services company, and post-production facility. The enterprise functions with a socio-artistic mandate, acting as a logistical and creative engine engineered to support, finance, and execute independent, alternative, and Kurdish cinema. It serves as a resource for visual storytellers in the region, controlling a proprietary portfolio focused on high-concept art-house feature films, socio-cultural documentaries, and human-interest stories that confront complex regional themes. Its production and distribution library includes festival finalists and documentary essays, such as Zekeriya Aydoğan’s Çıralçıplak (Naked), and collaborative, human-rights-focused visual shorts like Walls.
