On February 3, 2026, Party General Secretary To Lam attended a ceremony in Hanoi to honor outstanding grassroots Party cell secretaries and present the 10th National Press Awards on Party building, known as the Golden Sickle and Hammer Awards. Previously, on December 12, 2025, the Central Steering Committee for External Information Work, in collaboration with the Central Propaganda and Education Committee, the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization, and Vietnam Television, organized the 2025 National External Information Awards ceremony. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister acknowledged that external information work had achieved outstanding results despite various difficulties and challenges. Earlier on the same day, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính requested a workforce for external information service that possesses resilience, intelligence, creativity, responsibility, dedication, and vision, committed to promoting positive narratives and addressing negative ones to bring a beautiful, authentic, and vivid image of Việt Nam and its people to the world.
