On July 22, 2026, Vodafone Business signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with London-based AI lab Cosine, joining an industry coalition to co-design "Lumen Sovereign Britain's" first fully sovereign frontier AI model for critical sectors, a move aimed at reducing reliance on Silicon Valley. Previously, on July 16, Vodafone Business launched a new Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) solution designed to help mid-sized organizations (250-1000 employees) modernize device management, reduce upfront costs, and free IT teams to focus on strategic priorities. Earlier, on July 15, Vodafone Business introduced SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and Secure SD-WAN services in Greece, developed in collaboration with Fortinet, expanding its enterprise networking and cybersecurity offerings to enable secure networking environments and support hybrid work and cloud transitions. The company also stated on July 13 that as enterprises deploy agentic AI, future networks must support AI-to-AI interactions with greater intelligence, security, resilience, and operational simplicity.
