VTR (Vía Trans Radio Comunicaciones SpA) is a Chilean telecommunications company founded in 1928 and headquartered in Chile. It offers fixed-line broadband, mobile telephony, and television services in Chile. In 2021, América Móvil and Liberty agreed to combine their Chilean operations, Claro Chile and VTR, to create Claro VTR. The merger was finalized in 2022, and in 2024, América Móvil announced that it would assume control of Chile's Claro VTR, acquiring the stake from its joint venture partner Liberty Latin America. As of 2023, VTR has around 3,600 employees and generates less than $500 million in annual revenue.
