Earlier, on March 6, 2026, Walt Disney’s Pixar Animation Studios anticipated box office success for its new film "Hoppers," which opened that weekend, hoping a viral meme featuring a googly-eyed lizard character from the movie would translate into ticket sales. The character inadvertently became a social media hit after a 28-second clip appeared in the end credits of another Pixar film, "Elio," released last June. Previously, on March 4, 2026, Disney+ announced the debut of "Disney Animation’s Songs in Sign Language" on April 27. These three animated musical sequences from recent Walt Disney Animation Studios features are newly reimagined and animated in American Sign Language (ASL), in celebration of National Deaf History Month.
