A new Walt Disney Studios merchandise collection will become available at The Magic of Disney Animation in Disney’s Hollywood Studios upon its opening on September 14, following a media preview. Previously, on August 25, Marvel Studios announced tickets went on sale for the re-release of “Avengers Endgame: Encore,” which returns to theaters on September 25 in IMAX and INFINITY VISION, a new certification for Premium Large Format theaters. Earlier, on August 24, Pixar Animation Studios confirmed the re-release of *Cars* to theaters on September 4, celebrating the film's 20th anniversary. This follows the Walt Disney Studios revealing its theatrical slate at D23 2026 on August 16, which positions 2028 with 14 reserved release dates and several marquee franchises, potentially making it the studio's most lucrative year since 2019.
