News Summary:

Waves Audio’s eMotion LV1 Classic and eMo IEM immersive in-ear mixing engine were used by touring engineer Lucas Pinzon to build individually spatialized in-ear mixes for musicians on Michael Franti & Spearhead’s summer run, which concluded on July 9, 2026, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Earlier on July 6, the Ryan Castro Sendé tour deployed four Waves LV1 Classics for front-of-house, monitors, guest monitors, and a live broadcast feed, with Waves eMo IEM managing in-ear mixes for Castro, his band, backing vocals, dancers, and playback. Previously, on June 16, Waves Audio hosted its Better U educational event at Central Church in Henderson, Nevada, providing hands-on training, workflow development, and industry discussions focused on the Waves eMotion LV1 Classic mixing platform for live sound engineers, systems integrators, house-of-worship technical leaders, and production professionals. This followed the company’s announcement on June 26 of Mix Unlock, a new feature within its StudioVerse online preset library, designed to allow users to separate and manipulate vocals, drums, bass, and instrumental elements within finished stereo audio directly inside their DAW.
