Privately owned West Bromwich Albion Football Club, also known as WBA, is headquartered in the UK. Founded in 1878, the organization employs approximately 310 individuals. Its main product is spectator sports, and the club operates as a tier 1 media tech buyer. It functions as a professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands, England, competing in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football. The club has played at its home ground, The Hawthorns, since 1900.
West Bromwich Albion coach Eric Ramsay assessed his side's 2-0 defeat to Coventry City on February 22, stating that the Sky Blues "didn’t have to work too hard" for their two-goal lead. This follows new information emerging on February 21 regarding the recent departure of president and sporting director Andrew Nestor. Nestor had arrived at The Hawthorns in February 2024 with owner and Chairman Shilen Patel, following the American's takeover of the Baggies. Earlier, on February 6, West Bromwich Albion confirmed Nestor's departure and announced the return of former managing director Mark Miles as executive director. Miles had previously worked under three owners at the Championship club and led it through the 2024 takeover by Bilkul Football Group.
