It provides technology workflows for in-line editing, automated media transcription with time coding, automated subtitling, synthesized voice dubbing, real-time meeting interpretation, and live subtitling.
XL8 announced its official entry into the tourism market on July 15, 2026, launching its real-time artificial intelligence (AI) interpretation and translation solution, EventCAT, through the '2026 Tourism Plus Tech Bridge' project. This project supports commercialization and overseas proof-of-concept trials for companies selected by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS program. Previously, on June 26, XL8 integrated its technology with Knox Media Hub, expanding its partner ecosystem within the global Media & Entertainment sector. This followed an announcement on January 25 that XL8's real-time AI interpretation and translation solution, EventCAT, achieved annual revenue exceeding $1 million in the previous year, representing a 1250% increase from the prior year and demonstrating steady growth since its launch in June 2023. EventCAT specializes in business meetings, lectures, and large-scale conferences. Earlier in the year, on January 14, an AI-based real-time translation and interpretation solution supported communication at a Korea-U.S. bio-healthcare cooperation event held in Silicon Valley.
