Zong

Zong, also known as Zong CMPak Ltd. or Zong China Mobile Pakistan, is a privately owned Pakistani telecommunications company founded in 2007. A wholly-owned subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Corporation, Zong acquired its Pakistani GSM network license from Millicom. Initially holding a 2% market share, the company has significantly expanded its operations, currently boasting approximately 20% market share and over 26 million subscribers. Employing around 6,380 people, Zong generated approximately $500 million in revenue in 2023. Its services include 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular mobile voice and data services, with 4G coverage extending to over 100 Pakistani cities.
