Al Hadath, a privately owned company headquartered in Saudi Arabia and a subsidiary of Al Arabiya News Channel, was founded in 2012. The company operates as an Arab news interactive channel focusing on political events in the Arab region. It is available on the British Freeview service via the Vision TV streaming service and joined Al Arabiya on Freeview channel 273 from March 28, 2022.
Al Arabiya, Al Hadath's sister channel, recently completed a relocation of all editorial, administrative, and operational activities to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the Saudi Minister of Media visiting the new headquarters on Sunday. The move includes Al Hadath and is based in the Diplomatic Quarter. Separately, Al Hadath reported on discussions regarding security developments and efforts to contain violence in southern Syria. In other news, Al Hadath sources reported that Hezbollah informed Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri that it would not surrender its weapons or comply with any decisions regarding them.
