All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW)

All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), also known as AJP, is a privately owned Japanese professional wrestling promotion founded in 1972 by Giant Baba after splitting from the Japanese Wrestling Association. Initially the largest promotion in Japan, AJPW faced competition in the 1990s from other promotions, but remained profitable due to a new generation of wrestlers such as Mitsuharu Misawa, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, Kenta Kobashi, and Toshiaki Kawada. Headquartered in Japan, AJPW's main product is streaming services.
