Currently employing approximately 10 people, ASA's primary activity is sanctioning the ASA STARS National Tour, a super late model racing series operating under a licensing agreement with ARCA. The ASA STARS National Tour held the Appalachian Sucker Punch 250 Presented by Jones Utilities at Dominion Raceway in Thornburg, VA on April 5th. Twenty-two drivers competed in the race, including four from the Midwest and three from Canada. Johnny Sauter was set to drive the Richie Wauters Racing number 5 car. Cole Butcher won the race, followed by Derek Thorn and Jake Garcia. A television broadcast of the Sunshine State 200 from Five Flags Speedway aired on MAVTV on April 7th.
