MotoAmerica, a privately owned US-based company founded in 2014, promotes the AMA Superbike Series. Sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, the organization oversees eight classes of motorcycle road racing: Superbike, Stock 1000, Supersport, King of the Baggers, Super Hooligan National Championship, Twins Cup, Junior Cup, and Mini Cup. Employing approximately 50 people, the company's annual revenue was less than $25 million in 2023.
On August, a spokesperson reported that MotoAmerica issued a Notification of Sanction, disqualifying Troy Herfoss from Race Two at Mid-Ohio, a race Herfoss won. S&S Indian is appealing this decision. Separately, Mallory Dobbs and Sonya Lloyd represented MotoAmerica at the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours on an unspecified date. Dobbs achieved two top-10 finishes. In other news, MotoAmerica announced that the Stock 1000 class will merge with the MotoAmerica Superbike class in 2026, becoming the MotoAmerica Superbike Cup. This aims to expand the Superbike grid and provide more opportunities for riders. At Mid-Ohio, Hayden Gillim won the J3 Baggers race, while Troy Herfoss won another race.
