The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), a privately owned company founded in 1951, is a governing body for drag racing. Headquartered in the US, the NHRA employs approximately 270 people and generated revenue of around $100 million in 2023. Its primary activity is organizing and hosting drag racing events across the United States and Canada, establishing and enforcing the rules of the sport.
On Friday, April 26th, Brittany Force secured the provisional No. 1 qualifier position at the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals, achieving the quickest run in Top Fuel. Matt Hagan, Dallas Glenn, and Gaige Herrera also achieved provisional No. 1 qualifier status in their respective categories: Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle. A video was later released showing behind-the-scenes footage of the winners celebrating at the 2025 40th NHRA Reading Nationals presented by Nitro Fish.
