ArtAV is a privately owned company headquartered in the UK. Founded in 2012, it employs approximately 10 individuals. The company operates as an audio visual systems integrator, offering a full service systems integration solution. This includes initial concept development, design, visualisation, plan draughting, sourcing, fabrication, testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, mid-show support, and de-rigging.
ArtAV collaborated with the Vienna Secession on Ali Cherri's "How I Am Monument" exhibition at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, marking the second chapter of their partnership and the artist's first major UK presentation. In Gateshead, UK, ArtAV worked with the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art to install Hannah Perry's "Manual Labour" exhibition, incorporating Genelec 8330 studio loudspeakers to enhance the auditory experience. This multi-sensory experience explored themes of motherhood, class, and labor. ArtAV also oversaw the installation of John Akomfrah's "Four Nocturnes" at the Völklinger Hütte in Germany, a project commissioned by Smoking Dogs Films and Lisson Gallery as part of the "True Size of Africa" Exhibition. Finally, ArtAV participated in the installation of John Akomfrah's "Listening All Night To The Rain" at the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia in 2024.
