Badminton Association of Malaysia, also known as BAM, is a State Owned entity headquartered in Malaysia. Founded in 1964, it operates with approximately 80 employees. The association functions as the sport’s governing body in Malaysia, dedicated to racquet sports, and is affiliated with the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the Badminton Asia Confederation (BAC), and the Olympic Council of Malaysia. It is registered with the Sports Commissioner of Malaysia under the Sports Development Act 1997 of the Laws of Malaysia and has 15 states as its members.
