The Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) concluded its ‘Bowlers Ki Khoj’ initiative on May 17, 2024, at Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna. Over 4000 players participated, resulting in the selection of 20 male and 5 female bowlers. Former Indian cricketers Salil Ankola and Karsan Ghavri assessed participants. On April 28, 2024, BCA president Rakesh Tiwari praised Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his record-breaking IPL century, describing the performance as extraordinary. Suryavanshi achieved this milestone on May 5, 2024, following his IPL debut days earlier. The BCA celebrated Suryavanshi's achievement, highlighting its focus on grassroots talent scouting.
