This followed the magazine's inclusion of Kansas City Japanese izakaya Anjin, a recent James Beard finalist, on its list of 19 restaurants across the country that represent exciting dining in the U.S. Also on August 24, Casa Juani in Boulder, noted for its blue cheese-tinged Basque cheesecake, secured its position as Colorado’s sole representative on Bon Appétit’s 2026 list of Best New Restaurants in America.
