Bound Entertainment is a privately owned company with headquarters in South Korea, also maintaining dual headquarters in Los Angeles, California, and Seoul. Founded in 2019, the company employs approximately 20 individuals and specializes in entertainment content rights. Functioning as an independent global entertainment studio and talent management enterprise, it was engineered to capture the global momentum of the Korean Wave (Hallyu). The company operates as a creative bridge between Hollywood and East Asia, focusing on packaging, financing, and producing cross-border intellectual properties, multi-lingual feature films, and serialized television dramas for global consumption. Its collaborations with filmmakers include producing the multi-season Apple TV+ original sci-fi drama Dr. Brain (directed by Kim Jee-woon and starring Lee Sun-kyun) and co-producing Coupang Play's romantic action-thriller Newtopia, co-written by Parasite’s scribe Han Jin-won.
