The company specializes in broadcast television and radio as a commercial free-to-air television network and is recognized as the second-oldest television station in the country. Managed by the Romay Salvo family media group, it utilizes full-high-definition production control rooms, automated digital master control facilities, and a widespread network of domestic relay stations to deliver mass-market news, entertainment, and live sports programming to households nationwide from its studio complex in the Aguada neighbourhood of Montevideo.
